The RC16 is a great classical guitar and constructed using many of the same components and techniques used in building our higher end instruments and sounds and plays superbly well. It has a spruce top and mahogany back and sides, classic tone woods that generate a warm and well-balanced tone. We have made the neck profile on Regent Series a little finer so they’re easier to play and every model is constructed using a dovetail neck joint that optimizes the transfer of energy between the neck and body.
This instrument has also been finished using an electrostatic painting process for a more even finish that uses less paint in its application. This allows the guitar to sing a little more and it also looks fantastic. It also has a PPS saddle and nut help to improve response and sustain.
